I'm a bit annoyed with the Ponting wicket - it was so obviously out, maybe not (clearly not) to the umpire but Ponting himself must have known. I'm quite disappointed in him over it, but I seem to be constantly disappointed with him lately.

I do know you think that Pakistan are favourites, Govind! But somehow, I don't think so! Somehow, I cannot come to imagine Pakistan winning 3 Knock Out games in a row to win a major tournament. They are capable, but often self-destruct!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, Pakistan will be the most susceptible in the QFs (against Eng or WI) because of this fabulous win over Pakistan! There is a good chance they might go bust in QFs!
If you are asking me, India face Australia in the quarters. I am Indian and would love to see India win. But with our pop-gun attack, I don't see that happening.
ReplyDeleteI love the way Pakistan play their Cricket when they are on fire and that is why I support Pakistan even though almost 95% of the people in India consider it a blasphemy :-)
Loved the post.......other than India (despite their popgun attack ;-))....i love the hanging by the skin attitude of English men, and would support them....Pakis have got fly swatters as batters to complement our popgun attack....;-)
